Self-massage is an opportunity to release tensions, deepen the sense of embodiment and strengthen receptivity in your body. The focus for that module will be a neck, a throat, and a jaw. Many of us hold various tensions and pain syndromes in these areas, coming both from postural and physical patterns, as well as often hold or suppressed emotions. The neck can be associated with a tendency to control, a throat with our ability for self-expression, and a jaw with unexpressed anger and frustration.
- We will start with a movement exercise to loosen up the body and wake up the energy flow
- Used technique comes from the modality called Myofascial Energetic Release
- We will focus on touch, breath, and presence. It might become your evening meditation.
- Make sure you have short nails and a bit of cream available
- No prior experience is necessary
FACILITATOR
Mateusz is a practitioner of body therapy in Relational Spaces, primarily in the modality of Myofascial Energetic Release. He is undergoing several education paths in bodywork, breathwork, mindfulness, and circling. His passion is to explore the potential of touch, breath, presence, and movement.
