Silence and touch
Explore touch in a room where no one is talking. It is as simple as that. I have facilitated silence and touch many times in different settings and I am always amazed at how deep it is possible to go just by slowing down, allowing ourselves to be sensitive towards both ourselves and others and move with what is alive in us.
In the beginning of the event I will facilitate a few exercises where we play with movement and touch in different ways. Through this process we will move into silence and after around 30 minutes I will put on some nice music and we will spend roughly 1½ hours in silence while exploring touch.
It is a chance to really feel into your longings and boundaries. It is a room where you can take space for yourself. It is a time to be really sleepy, frustrated, happy, horny, active or passive. It is an opportunity to play and have fun. It is a space where you can explore new ways of moving and touching.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
I have facilitated all sorts of workshops for many years and I find that I am becoming increasingly curious embodied interactions – particularly in playful or unstructured settings. Silence and touch was developed (or maybe rather discovered) together with my fiend Nina Essendrop as we were playing around with methods for deepening presence and awareness for something called “the other life project”.
