Weekly Circling (online)
Circling is a practice where we sit together and explore what is happening in and between us right now. If you haven’t tried it before, you can imagine the depth and presence of meditation, coupled with the intimacy of being with your closest friends, and add to that the excitement of discovering something new.
The reasons to circle are varied and many. Some of us circle to
- get a feeling of depth and presence
- understand ourselves better
- learn better social skills, understand the many ways we impact each other
- get a deeper connection to our emotions
- to get back in connection with our senses and other people
- feel seen in an unusually profound way
- practice setting and sensing boundaries
- practise self-leadership
The facilitators are there to introduce the practice and to lead by example. We are educated by Circling Europe, and use their five principles as guidelines.
You can read more about the principles here, but you don’t need to know them to circle: https://www.circlingeurope.com/five-principles
You don’t need to know anything in particular to come, and you don’t need to be anyone in particular.
You can reserve your spot by:
- paying 100 kr on MobilePay to 50 51 45 46 (Anezka Sokol )
- or paypal.me/anezkasokol
The event will happen on Zoom and the link will be shared an hour before the event starts. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the link.
This circling evening is part of a series of recurring circling sessions offered by Relational Spaces where a group of facilitators take turns hosting. Each facilitator brings their own flavor to the experience.
These evenings take place every Tuesday and Thursday.
The facilitators for this particular evening are:
Anežka has worked as mindfulness and yoga instructor since 2009 and discovered Circling in 2015 . She has finished Circling Europe’s “Surrendered Leadership SAS” programme.
Ronja discovered Circling in 2014 and has been practicing ever since. She has finished Circling Europe’s “Surrendered Leadership SAS” and “Leader in Training” programme.
If you feel uncertain whether circling is for you, you can read a bit more here:
Peter Munthe-Kaas, who is a part of Relational Spaces, has written a personal account of his experience with circling: https://www.relationalspaces.dk/circling-and-surrendered-leadership/
